An FRP/GRP storage tank is a tank made from Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) / Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) — glass fibre embedded in a resin matrix. This composite construction gives the tank high strength, light weight and excellent resistance to corrosion and chemical attack, making it a superior alternative to steel, concrete and plastic tanks for long-term storage of water, wastewater and aggressive chemicals.
