FRP GRP rebars and rock bolts by FCI Composites

FRP/GRP Rebars and Rock bolts

Fibre Craft Industries (FCI Composites) manufactures FRP/GRP rebar that substitutes steel rebar with a composite, non-corrosive and non-metallic reinforcement. FCI rebar offers very high tensile performance for a low weight — up to 8 times the performance-to-weight ratio of steel — and is available in various grades and sizes.

What is FRP rebar?

FRP rebar is a fibreglass reinforcement bar used in place of steel rebar in concrete, for both new construction and as a strengthening material. Because it is non-metallic and non-corrosive, it never rusts or spalls the concrete, making it ideal for structures exposed to moisture, chlorides and chemicals.
