FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) grating is a load-bearing panel made of glass fibre in a resin matrix. It replaces traditional steel grating in corrosive and demanding environments because it does not rust, is lightweight, fire-retardant and low in electrical conductivity. FCI is the sole local manufacturer of fiberglass gratings in Pakistan, producing pultruded gratings since the early 2000s and molded gratings since 2016.
