Fibre Craft Industries recently completed a critical cooling tower rehabilitation project at Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited – Sheikhupura Plant, involving the replacement of legacy wooden hot water distribution trays of a cross-flow cooling tower with state-of-the-art pultruded FRP water distribution trays.

This scope covered complete supply (8 cells) and installation across three cooling tower cells, executed under live industrial conditions where precision, safety, and downtime control were non-negotiable.

Why This Upgrade Matters

• Wooden trays, over time, suffer from rot, deformation, biological attack, and uneven water distribution. They soak water and exert substantial loads on the structure underneath.
• Pultruded FRP trays offer structural consistency, corrosion resistance, and long-term dimensional stability while being lightweight and water resistant.
• The result: uniform water distribution, improved thermal performance, and reduced maintenance and safety risk.
