Counter-Flow Cooling Tower at Azgard Nine Biomass Power Plant

January 28, 2026

Fibre Craft Industries is proud to announce the successful completion of a Fiberglass Pultruded Structure Counter-Flow Cooling Tower (1,600 m³/hr) for Azgard Nine Limited at their 7 MW Biomass Power Plant.

This project showcases our capability to deliver high-performance cooling solutions through in-house design, fabrication, and execution — engineered specifically for demanding industrial and power-generation environments.

Why FRP Pultruded Counter-Flow Cooling Towers?

The system was selected for its proven technical advantages:

  • Corrosion-free FRP pultruded structure, ideal for aggressive industrial atmospheres
  • High structural strength and dimensional accuracy compared to conventional fabricated frames
  • Counter-flow thermal efficiency, enabling better heat rejection and lower approach temperatures
  • Lightweight construction, reducing civil and foundation loads
  • Low maintenance and long service life, resulting in reduced life-cycle cost
  • Suitability for power and process cooling applications with continuous operation
